can mouse get pass evaporator? over top
I removed my blower motor. I found some gray foam a mouse left, next to the evaporator. Can a mouse get past the evaporator? If you were to go straight in were the blower motor is, how does that connect to the heater core inside. I was woundering how a mouse gets from the blower motor box, down to the heater core.

So true. Mice can get through some TINY spaces. We found a little bity dead mouse in my truck when we took out the seat and flooring less than two weeks ago. It had obviously been there for years prior to my purchase.

The 80-96 Ford trucks are NOTORIOUS for things falling behind the dash, and little critters finding their way into the duct system.

When you turn the heat on does it smell like dead mice? It's easy for them to get into the blower motor, we see that all the time, they might keep up with it on slow speed but when you hit full blast that's one hell of a ride. I usually find them just in that area though, customer complains of a noise and there he is. but the heater core and evap. are sealed pretty good, unless they got in thru the other end. Well good luck, leave some cheese out.

You know I was curious about that. Damn little buggers. Should put sticky poison just on the inside of the drains so they'll never make it past the tasty death treat.

I rather spin em in the squirrel cage, I once had a cat climbed into the engine compartment, then roasted but it was winter so the night before we pulled the car in and it thawed overnite. We came in the next day and the stench was so bad we had to open all the doors and turn all the exhaust fans on till we found that sucker and it was in the teens out that day. Horror couldn't explain that smell, jammed into the back of a pontiac fiero. Remember those things the GT with the 2.8 V-6 or the 2.5 duke motor, they were in every GM out there.

And I remember the Pontiac Fiero greatly. A guy in my auto shop class in high school did one of the kits where he made it look like a Ferrari Testarossa
