US wide recognition... The impact Steve had is amazing.

 

I know I don't get on here as much as I would like. However, to see and read that a person that many thought very highly of has passed away is saddening. My thoughts and prayers are with Steve's family and his friends. May he be always remembered.

Just seeing this now and I'm saddened beyond belief. Had the pleasure of meeting Steve the first Carlisle, Pa. GTG and he was a great guy. Truely a down to earth person period. Thoughts and prayers to his family, so sorry to hear.

Nolan, that is awesome that you did that. This is a true family...one I am proud to call mine.

 

I've had an unusually busy summer and haven't had a chance to spend much time on FTE.
My thoughts and prayers are with Steves' many, many friends and his family in particular. Rest assured that he has found a much greater place...truly one of the good ones.
On July 19, he was kind enough to send a PM checking in on me to see if I was ok as I hadnt been on much. To me, that speaks volumes about his character and humanity.
RIP brother and thanks so much for your perceptive wit. We will all miss you.

Wow , I just logged in and seen a PM from Glruff regarding the memorial . What a great guy , Steve was a great person , so sad to hear of his passing...I remember many years ago when he offered to pick me up at the airport in California and take me to my sisters house shortly after my Brother inlaw passed away. He refused any reimbursement for fuel...

Just saw this post. Im shocked!! too young!!! Steve was friend that was always there for this chapter and was president for number of years. I enjoyed seeing him at the western nationals with the chapters awesome banner.. He will be missed. My heart filled condolences to his family.
