Help! Not getting power to injectors on my 460

I have a 1988 Ford F250. it will not start due to not getting power to the injectors. Has anyone had the similar problem or do they know how to fix it? I got great fuel pressure and everything just no power to the injectors.if I spray carb cleaner in it if will start and die as soon as I stop. Anything will help thanks

The power for the injectors (red wire) comes from the EEC Power Relay. Note this power over the red wire also goes to the fuel pump relay coil so if you have fuel pressure you should have power to the fuel injectors.

How did you test for power on the red wire at the injectors?

Note also that to fire the injectors the computer will ground one bank of injectors at a time.

When you say you have fuel pressure are you saying that the fuel pumps will run all the time the key is on and the engine is not running?

When you say you have no power to the injectors are you saying a NOID light will not flash when plugged in to an injector plug and the engine is cranked?

Yes I plugged a noid light in both banks, I have nothing when it cranks over. It is a demolition derby truck so the fuel pump is hard wired with a toggle switch.

As noted above you need to see if the injectors have power on the red wire with the switch on.

The EEC power relay is normally controlled by the Ignition Switch.
If you have power on the red wires at the injectors when testing with a loading test light it could be a lot of things:
1. No PIP to the computer.
2. No computer ground (40 & 60).
3. No computer power from the same red wire (37 & 57).
4. A bad computer.

You can test for power on the wires (pins) noted above and check the ohms to ground on the ground wires.
You can check the PIP with an led and a 9Volt battery or a volt meter or a scope.
