radiator in the wrong spot
the radiator that is in the truck has one fitting on the top on the passenger side and two fittings on the bottom, it was hooked up to go straight through with no cooling effect. As the two fitting on the passenger side is inline with each other it only utilizes half of the radiator, but the cross flow from a 91 the inlet and outlet are opposite of each other making the coolant flow across and out the other fitting that and an electric fan should cool it off better because right now it runs for about five minutes before it starts to overheat. The fittings on the 91 water pump, has the top fitting going towards the center, and the bottom fitting is towards the passenger side i don't know maybe my radiator is toast,I tried to run water through it it seemed to run ok. I know i need a fan shroud but i was thinking of a electric fan i have a radiator out of a 95 windstar to use as a mockup templet it only has two or three tubes broke but it should work for a template.
