How easy and cheap depends on how it's done. And please share with me what you consider the "right" way?

putting some sort of lift on preferably a suspension lift whether it be a kit with just springs or a shackle reversal like i have done. i also said i possibly have room for 37's but am only running 35's haven't tried 37's yet cause i don't have any but i believe they will fit. sorry if i offended you with my comment about cutting fenders in my opinion and experience it is the easy and cheap way out.

There's something wrong with easy and cheap?

So to you the only way to fit decent size tires is to make the truck too tall to be useful a truck?

by all means nothing wrong with easy and cheap i just cringe on cutting up body parts to stuff tires when there is a proper way of doing it in my opinion, and if he wants to clear 37's the proper lift will not make it useless as a truck

Agreed. Cutting fenders is the hack way to go about fitting larger tires

Thanks for the feedback so far. I'm not against cutting sheet metal but it won't be on this truck...it's too nice to cut. I've scrounged up a ranch hand just so I wouldn't have to cut the bumper. There are other bumper styles I prefer, but this one came along at the right time/price.

I've changed plans slightly and just put new 285s on it to take the pressure off of rushing a lift kit and if the 37s don't clear.

This way I can do the lift right then get the tires, on a less aggressive schedule. But this thread has still helped with my questions...thanks!
