9 times out of ten it looks like crap and its the easy and cheap way to clear tires and not the right way only time i would cut is on like a pure offroad vehicle not a nice truck sorry my opinion and as far as the comment about your gf saying grrr..... really going to go that low

putting some sort of lift on preferably a suspension lift whether it be a kit with just springs or a shackle reversal like i have done. i also said i possibly have room for 37's but am only running 35's haven't tried 37's yet cause i don't have any but i believe they will fit. sorry if i offended you with my comment about cutting fenders in my opinion and experience it is the easy and cheap way out.

So to you the only way to fit decent size tires is to make the truck too tall to be useful a truck?

Thanks for the feedback so far. I'm not against cutting sheet metal but it won't be on this truck...it's too nice to cut. I've scrounged up a ranch hand just so I wouldn't have to cut the bumper. There are other bumper styles I prefer, but this one came along at the right time/price.
I've changed plans slightly and just put new 285s on it to take the pressure off of rushing a lift kit and if the 37s don't clear.
This way I can do the lift right then get the tires, on a less aggressive schedule. But this thread has still helped with my questions...thanks!
