94 F150 stalls and wont start until after 5-10 min
I have a 94 F150 5.0 302 4X4 5 speed manual transmission that I have been working on for a few years that my uncle gave me. before I got the truck it had been sitting for about 6 years or so, me and my dad were able to get it started and drove it to where I live now. once it got here it ran poorly it had a high low idle problem and the transmission went out on it. had the transmission fixed and it ran for a while after that but still with the high low idle.
I then let it sit for about a year or so and started working on trying to fix the high low idle. which seems to be fixed so far but now my problem is after i fixed the high low idle it started to act almost like it would run out of gas like it was about to stall out and giving it some gas on the pedal would fix it for a bit just to make it home without having to tow it there. it gradually got to the point where it would just die while i was driving and i needed to wait about 5 minutes before it would start again and i could drive it for another minute or 2 and it would die again.
currently i'm at the point where i can let the truck idle for about 3 minutes and it will die and then i will have to wait 5-10 minutes for it to start back up again. once the truck it warmed up it dies faster than it did the first time it was cranked over.
parts have have replaced:
TPS
IACV
Fuel Tank with Fuel Pump
Fuel Filter
EGR valve
Fuel Pressure Regulator
Ignition Control Module
O2 sensor
MAP sensor
Ignition Coil
spark plugs and wires were changed a few years ago when i first got my hands on the truck
I have more parts i have probably replaced but i cant think of them off the top of my head.
any thoughts on the subject would be great because im at a lose right now
P.S. i have changed the Distributor twice already so its not the pip sensor

I rented a fuel pressure gauge from autozone and one at oreillys and i hooked it up to the schrader valve on the fuel rail and i wasn't getting anything. I dont know if i was using it wrong or what. this is my first vehicle that I have been working on and the internet has been my guide to fixing it and theres nothing really saying anything about using the fuel pressure gauge wrong or what the next step would be in diagnosis. the fuel filter, gas tank, fuel pump, fuel pressure regulator are all new.

This is a little dangerous, but be careful and it will work. Switch on the ignition long enough for the fuel pump to run and shut off. Then switch off the ignition and take a small screwdriver or even a nail and press on the Schrader valve momentarily to see if fuel squirts out. You should get from a few drops to a large squirt. If you get fuel, then you should be able to read the pressure, unless it has drained down.
Some of the fuel pressure gauges are difficult to use. I bought one which is made for GM with a Ford adapter. Unfortunately, the little pin in the adapter which presses the valve fell out, and I have to use a makeshift setup. Some of the tire gauges will even work on the schrader valve, especially the kind with a valve and hose on them.
The fact that the truck runs for a few minutes then dies is indicative of a fuel problem. Normally, ignition problems are more erratic (ignition module) or consistently miss on one or more cylinders.

well it was backfiring before but when i was messing with it today after i changed out the egr valve it wasnt doing it anymore but it was only running for a short time today so i cant say for sure that the backfiring is gone. when i come home tomorrow after work i will do the test that you said and see how it goes.
