So this is the truck I drug up there a couple months back. I drove it the day before yesterday after he came over and let it cool for a while. When he showed up temp was around 190. By the time I was wrapping up our 4th party we jumped in it and took off. It had cooled to around 150 by that time and the next 20 min or so I drove the crap out it and it seemed ok. Only a slight miss shift going into 2nd two times. But other than that it was fine. Now at this point I was believing it may have been a fluke. He was convinced something was defiantly wrong. So the next day "yesterday" he asked if we could data log and I said sure. So yesterday he showed up after driving about 15 min and the truck was at about 150 tranny temp. I told him to just let it run for a while in park. About 30 min later we got in it and hooked the AE up to it to watch a few things and check codes. It did have about 3-4 tranny related codes. He wrote them down and I don't have them to give right now. Anyway I cleared the codes and the temp was still at about 150. We started backing out the drive and onto the road. As soon as we went to drive, I knew something wasn't right. Truck was revving, very little movement and a car coming. He had to floor it just move it out of both lanes. I figured we'd run it thru the gears and see what was going on. For the next 10 min or so the tc not once locked up. After a few min the temp started rising and we realized we better get back. Upon turning around the od off light started flashing. We made it back. The tranny temp had made it to around 190 by the time we got back. I checked the codes again and the same were back but with one extra. Again I don't have tat info in front of me to share. Maybe he will see this and post em. I have no doubt this will be resolved. Just sucks at the moment for Tyler!

Bts status..
Bullas AE threw a couple of codes.. 2-3 shift incorrect gear ratio, torque convert clutch circut performance stuck off, input/turbine speed senser no signal.. Fluid was not burnt. Pulls the pan and discover a pile of metal on the maget. Call Brian told him my issue. He sent a case down, a buddy and I pulled the tranny, shipped it got it back a week later. Brian said the low reverse spring went out and cause the damage. Said my torque converter was fine, and my cooler was fine, he paid for everything. Very thank for his service and help!! I have put 2500 miles on it... So just wait and see how she hold up.. I think she will!! Jut a faulty part. Thanks Brian!!

Brian's response in this case will go a long way toward selling more of his transmissions.
These forums are littered with blinking banner ads and column ads and header widgets and sponsor forums... that I don't even see, much less look at.
But this thread, with the update on Brian's reported response, got my attention. And Brian just got more of my respect.
