Funny - I just recently heard the nickname of the last NUCLEAR POWERED AIRCRAFT CARRIER that I served on in the NAVY.
I wasn't aware of it, so it may be new.
USS John C. Stennis (CVN-74) is affectionately known as:
"JOHNNY REB"
~Shucks, I kin live with that...

Just got the new (and frankly dynamite looking) kitchen faucet, but now I need a pair of 1/2" NPT double male fittings to connect it.
Both the adapter hoses I have, and the connectors on the faucet are 1/2" NPT Female, so I have to hunt through my stuff or hope one of my neighbors has a pair of these things laying around in their plumbing junk.

I have a couple of questions for some of you who have been in Tennessee all y'alls lives -
First of all, I have a big ol' tarzan vine lookin' thing growing in my tree line along the next street that I have been trying to identify for years. Here are some pictures, so maybe you can figure it out and tell me:
~ It ain't Kudzu, that's for sure.
As you can see, that thing has gone right up to the top of some pretty big trees, and it is now spilling out into the road...
It forms vines as thick as ropes and runs right out through the trees just like, well.. Like something from an old Tarzan movie!
Those little berries are sour, but haven't hurt me in any way after tasting them. Columbine, that was allowed to get wild maybe? I have no idea other than that.
Secondly, in a patch in my FRONT yard - off by the fence under a maple tree I have a patch of 'SOMETHING' that almost looks like I dumped a bunch of seeds out and forgot about them. Funny looking things, almost like some kind of greens - and it would be just like me to cast a bunch of un-used seeds out in a part of the yard where I had nothing going on and leave it up to GOD from then on...
So what is THIS stuff? Mustard greens? Collards? Something like that? It doesn't look at all like anything else that grows native around here.
And it's only in one small ten or twelve foot on a side area almost as if Aliens landed and left it there (!?!!)
* If it turns out to be edible, I'll let it take over that whole part of the yard.
I also thought I would make you drool on your keyboard!
The purpose of growing all sorts of wonderful foodstuffs, is to stuff myself with wonderful food.
I also spend a lot of cash on tools for the kitchen - not just the garage. The taco shells you see here (ALL of them) cost me $1.49 for a pack of tortillas...
And a LOT of the fresh veggies go into making THESE -
Yer damn right! PIZZA!!!

Wolf....shame on you for making me so hungry right before lunch time. That pizza looks delicious!
That vine you have there is all over the woods around here....not sure of its exact name, but we used to swing off them all the time.
I don't recognize the plants in your front plot, but if it has a square stem, it is most likely in the MINT family, as every mint (including Basil) has a square stem. I'll try and find out more about them when I have some more time.
I'm playing catch-up this week-----been out for two weeks for a sorta-vacation and meeting with my siblings to sort through my Dad's belongings. Was good to see the family but a very difficult time for all involved.
Wolf might be interested in knowing that I have the "Year Book" for the USS Roosevelt and its 1971 voyage that my Dad was part of. I didn't know that the NAVY made those....pretty neat.
Hope everyone is having a good Monday!
