T10 Transmission Throwout bearing

I have a 56 truck that I bought that has a 272 Y block in it bolted to a T10 4 speed side shift transmission. I've had a difficult time sorting out the right clutch kit and the throwout bearing is always wrong. Any suggestions?

I'm also missing the speedo gear in the transmission. I'm not sure the tooth count.

Need to know more like what style of presure plate, that makes a big difference in the T/O bearing.

That is a picture of a Long style pressure plate and the Borg & Beck is "similar". Do you know what you have? Is it a Ford or GM T10? Are there any adapters in this set-up, modified components? God and the person who installed it are the only ones that know where the parts came from that cobed that trans into your vehicle. Pictures of everything including measurements of ID, OD, length of bearing, spline count and size of disc. Otherwise it is a shot in the dark and based on the response no else can provide the info unless you help us out.

If you chose not to provide the info here is a link to help maybe figure out what you need.

1961/64 Studebaker Lark & Hawk, 1963/64 Studebaker Avanti also used T-10's.

FoMoCo V8 T/O bearing is the same regardless of what M/T is installed.

The original bearing was separate from the hub, Ford later replaced it with a one piece assembly.

Thanks for the info that has been provided. Let me do more digging and I'll report back what I find out. I'm thankful.

Long style clutch pressure plate.
No adapters and nothing modified. Original bellhousing with casting numbers that came back as a truck with v8.
1.635-1.700" total length (roughly)
1.435 I.D.
3.00" O.D. (total outside)
2.63" O.D. (bearing face only)
1 1/16" 10-spline input shaft
11" disc
The throwout I have looks similar to the original we have been dealing with. Only difference is that the I.D. is way smaller. I understand what you are saying about the bearing being separate from the hub. The clutch we got the other day had a bearing that had to be pressed onto the hub.

If you look at the link I provide you will find you answer. You did not give the length of you T/O but based on your measurements there is only one choice. I will let you look at the link and compare for yourself. I led you to water now you need to drink.

Good luck.
