How much is my truck worth?

How much is my truck worth?
Well I think the time has come to sell my old truck, and I am curious to what y'all think it is worth, or what my asking price should be for the truck.
It is a 1986 F150 2wd 5.0L with 103,xxx miles. I inherited the truck from my grandpa who bought the truck back in 1996, I have all the service records for the truck. The only mechanical issue with it some leaky valve covers, it has a fresh tune up (plugs, wires, cap and rotor) new exhaust, new master cylinder and some other small stuff. I think the truck is in great shape for a 28 year old truck, but I'm not sure what I sell it for. Thanks for your input

We would have to know more about it, like how much rust it has, whether the wiring has been hacked, the condition of the tires, etc to be able to really do a good job. But, if it is as clean as it looks in this pics then we could guess based on that.
Probably the best way to help you is to give you examples of what things have or may go for. One example is the 82 F150 I sold a couple of years ago for $2500. It had a brand new 5.8L in it that I built, a decent interior, and good but old tires. It had a new sector box so it drove well, a new windshield, good weatherstrip, but oxidized paint.
On the other end of the scale, I know of a Flareside with a built 331 with EFI, a new wooden bed floor, new bumper, interior, paint, tires, etc. it is really cute and he's only asking $5000 although he has more than $11000 in it.
So your truck will be somewhere between those two, but I would say closer to the $2500 end - assuming your truck is really clean and without rust.

I think it is worth more than $2k. I would have thought you could get maybe $2.5k.
By the way, I've never seen the combination of side trim that you have. The trim directly on the wheel well is one level of optional trim, and the trim about 2" above that is a higher level of trim. I don't think you could order both so someone has added one or the other on, and probably that on the wheel well itself as that is far easier to add. Dad's truck has the lower trim, meaning right on the opening, and Rusty has the higher trim. I much prefer the lower but Dad's is in bad shape so am looking for those, which is why I spotted them on yours.

Around here, in Western Washington. I'd ask $2500 for it and be prepared to come down a little bit. Although older trucks are readily available around here - as there are a lot of them left in decent to good condition. There's also lots of old work beaters around here. Since you're in the rust belt, someone looking for an older pickup with very minimal rust will probably be very happy to find that.
