EGT measured behind turbo, what temps?

So I've had my EGT gauge working for about a week now. Sender is installed in downpipe just behind the turbo. I realize this is a less than ideal location and will read less than "true" EGT, but drilling the manifold is a bit too much of a PITA at the moment. That being said, what should I expect as "normal" and "problem" temps? Driving around town it's been reading around 400-500*, highest I saw was during an uphill pull around 6300ft, 82* ambient, peaked around 760*. Seems to run higher than "normal" with the high altitudes and extra boost, which seems logical.
