Upfitter switches question

Upfitter switches question
OK, on my past trucks I had the up fitter switches and Ford was kind enough to run blunt end cut wires through the firewall and strap them to the driver side firewall for tapping into.
On my current 2013 F350 I can find the blunt end wires under the dash behind the far panel of the lower dash, but I can find none that go through the firewall into the engine compartment.
Am I over looking something under the hood, or has Ford stopped running the wires into the engine compartment?
If this is the case what is the best route for gaining access from the interior of the cab through the firewall so that I can power up some aux lights?
I appreciate your assistance, and yes I checked the owners manual which is were I learned of the blunt end wires under the dash driver side.
Thank you,

they are there, just short as heck.. right behind the fusebox in the engine bay. taped to the harness..
also, be careful on crimping the UF wire to the passthru in the cab
I had a pair of crimpers with a cutter.. and oops, I cut the black wire for the nav GPS antenna that runs right thru this space.
note: in JonRen's post , at 35 seconds in, there is a yellow connector to the right on the wire nut, that is the GPS Antenna wire connection from the roof.. the black wire is what I cut)
didn't see it with my mirror..(can't lay upside down there)

Thanks.. Mine are so wrapped in tape under the hood that I didn't notice them at first. I take out the plastic part of the dash at the door opening after pulling down the door weather stripping so I can see better and get my XL hands in there. That helped me quite a bit.
When I connected my lights to the wires under the hood it was easier to solder the connection by going underneath and taking out the front wheel well for what it's worth. Regardless it's a pain inside and outside the truck to make the connections.

Engineering specified 12" extra wire length, accounting weighed the wire, multiplied by the number of trucks and the price of copper and reduced the specification
