2 stroke oil does not make u smoke more. i usually just run about a quart of 2 stroke oil and tat small bottle tat treats up to 40 gallons for the diesel kleen. i think ur fuel tank should be a 38 gallon fuel tank, right?

I'm not sure I know it around 30 it's been awhile sense I filled the tank up
From empty to tell how many gallons,I figured it would smoke alittle more
Cause A sled smokes lol so a quart of 2 stroke then enough DK to make 40 gallons

You should have a 38 gallon tank like what was mentioned. Ive been using the 2cycle oil from wally world along with archoil 6200. I use just over 1oz per gallon of oil every tank full and the archoil once a month. Seems to work well for me. Truck runs great too! And I've used the DK as per instructions along with the 2cycle oil with no smoke issues at all.

Ok so would I put in 32 oz of oil in the fuel? That just under 38 gallons of fuel

One quart per tank on the 2 cycle oil. The ratio doesn't need to be precise. Most use the ashless oil because it is engineered to burn completely.

You're running both Archoil6200 and 2 cycle oil? Isn't that overkill? I've read that either one or the other is plenty good enough.

I just recently (the tank of fuel I'm currently running) started to use the Archoil 6200...so it's too soon for me to know the difference.

[QUOTE=Splash67;14323414]You're running both Archoil6200 and 2 cycle oil? Isn't that overkill? I've read that either one or the other is plenty good enough.

I run the 2 stroke about 4-5 tanks then on the next fill up I put in the Archoil without adding anymore 2 stroke till the next tank full. Probably about 5 gallons left in tank when I fill up. So, there would be a small amount of 2 stroke mixed with it. No issues at this time and I've been using Archoil for about a year now. Both the 9100 and the 6200.

Ill be cut back some for my truck is currently running well and dont see the need to use it every oil change and fill up.

During the winter I was mixing 2 stroke along with DK with no issues.

Hope tis helps.

I may sound a little ignorant... but you are literally taking 2-stroke oil... and pouring up to a quart into your fuel tank? Am I reading that correctly? That is just blowing my mind... I couldn't imagine pouring oil in my fuel tank... I would like to know more information

CLINT-THE-GREAT Ya i just tried it i put a 16oz of 2 stroke oil mixed with 8oz diesel kleen in my fuel tank. Two days ago and i have notices a big differences in how it runs smoother idle and sounds better and it even improved the performance on the highway about 75 mph cruise control set. Even my wife notices it ran better and she asked what i did lol. This trick really works

Clint- I also run it and notice that the truck idles much better and has a lot less injector noise while driving. By far the hardest part is the first time you get that bottle and are thinking about putting that in your fuel tank but after you do you won't regret it. I generally run around a 16 oz bottle per tank fuel up( I think the tank is 28 gallons) but I don't ever see any reason to put more than one oz per gallon.

My truck will run on straight 2-cycle oil. That's a little expensive, though.

It just scares me to death to pour a bottle of oil into my fuel tank! So just to clarify.....

1. Buy bottle of Ashless 2 cycle oil (I seen the pic of Supertech, so Walmart brand is fine)?

2. Pour 1oz per gallon in tank (The Ex has a 44-gal tank)

3. Hope these guys aren't screwing with me and nothing bad will happen to engine...

I will say, I don't have alot of injector noise to begin with. I use Royal Purple oil as well as Archoil... as well as Ford Cetane booster. I also live in Central IL where they use bio-diesel and the Bio lubes everything up. But if it will help in any way the 6.0.... i would be willing to try it

Every now and then I run 1oz per gallon Supertech. It does help quiet the injectors.

Running B20 really quiets things down.

We are not screwing with you. I know I don't have the 6.0, but I run a bottle of tcw-3 two cycle oil per tank most of the time.
