DIFFERENTIAL BEARING FAILURE

The differential carrier bearing has gone bad on my 97 f150 4x4 with 8.8 rearend. I find alot of bearing sets for the 8.8 but some say for cars, some say for trucks, and some don't say any just list years. My question is, is there any difference??? Please help so I can get parts ordered.

I generally order the bearings by the numbers on the old ones . That way you get the correct ones . I get the numbers , call my parts guy , tell him the numbers and the application . I then get the proper parts when there are multiple choices to be had .

Thats what I would do, but I don't have room in my shop to have it tore down for several days waiting on parts. And I can't get a complete bearing rebuild kit at any of the parts houses. They all want to sell 1 at a time for more $$$ than I can get a complete bearing set for the rearend from summit racing. Thats why I asked if anyone knowed of any differences.
