Just bought a 2009 F350 Dually XLT, but it has no fog lights, just a factory plastic cover out front where they would be if installed factory. My question is if I buy a pair of factory fog lights, is the factory wiring going to be already there just capped? Can I just change out my factory headlight switch to the one that also pulls out like my F150 with fogs to activate them. Or did all of the wiring only come that way if you ordered it from the factory with fogs, meaning I am just going to have to hard wire everything from scratch ? Any help from someone who may have already done this may know, thanks

 

There should be a harness present, but it won't reach the fog lights. To add fog lights you will need the left light assembly, the right light assembly, the switch, and the harness to reach from the top of the radiator to each of the lights.

The connection for the fog lights should be on the driver side just in front of the radiator with a blank cap on it. It is round with 4 pins.
