Ok, I'm assuming this is a voltage regulator... However it is not regulating the voltage. When my electric fans are off, its over 16 volts to my gauge.

I would like to replace this instead of rewiring a new one (I tired that).

It has one wire in and one wire out.

It looks to be a voltage regulator but without knowing what it was originally in, nobody's gonna be able to help you by the pictures you posted. Your profile says that you have a 2005 F 150 and I know that it's not from that.

So is your truck converted to 12 volts? If so, are you running a 12V generator or an alternator? Single wire GM type alternator or 68 Ford alternator?

National Part Depot

Try this link to National Parts Depot Ford Truck parts. It shows part numbers, pictures and lists years, colors, etc. After it opens, click on starting, charging.
