Yea I don't see the bronco pan working. I called a bronco specialty shop which offers a reproduction '76 pan and he measured it at around 5.5" deep at the shallowest section. I re-measured mine tonight and it comes in at 5.25 at the front.

It looks as though spacers may be my only option at this point unless I want to empty the bank.

I was afraid that was the case.....again. This is no joke--when I called Chassis Engineering 2 years ago, they suggested a pan off some econoline van from the 1980's. I'll be honest, I think it was just a suggestion to get you off the phone. I'm not very impressed with Chassis Engineering's "technical help" department. Basically, I think whichever worker is walking by the phone answers it, and they don't exactly go out of their way to solve their recurring issues. I distinctly remember that I was not impressed.

I'm thinking so as well because apparently no Ford production oil pan will work. After looking at prices of a dry sump system, that is out. The oil mate looks really neat but I'm afraid it is going to be out of reach as well.

Doc, what size spacers did you end up running?

Thanks,
Matt

3/4" tall. I think that's what Frank used too.
