front cover replacment tips

I replaced the timing set on my 78 bronc oil pan is in place any tips on replacing the bottom seal timing cover rubber seal procedure without messing anything up or having a hole for oil leaks?

Id remove the oil pan myself. PITA but better that than struggling to fit the front seal properly. Did something similar to yourself and just had to bite the bullet.

Agree on removing the pan. You have to remember the crank oil seal - you'll be fighting it a bit to get that pan seal on right.

Don't ferget the RTV.
