Hello. My 2008 6.4 is very low on power. It feels like a fuel filter problem but i changed them out 2 times and the same thing happens. I can be driving down the highway and then it looses power. If i put it in neutral and shut engine down then restart it goes fine for a couple minutes then its back to low power. Also the fuel to empty- i always have to unhook the batteries to reset the computor as it says im 150km to empty- i unhook batteries for 5 min and then it says im 300 km to empty. In general- the truck is hard on fuel. Im planning on taking in to a dealership soon however it would be nice to know somewhat of whats happening. I have many large diesel engines with crushers and earthmovers and i am quite familair with what water does to a fuel sysyem.
Anyhow- its a shot in the dark.
Any feedback would be much appreciated.
