I think your truck looks awesome as it stands but I totally understand wanting to go taller I personally would never run a body lift, but if you do chose a small one (2-3") then you should be OK.

Now I own a 4x4 currently stock height but I want to do an SAS+ 6" lift & 35s for moderate off roading. I personally would not go over 10" lift but each to their own.

Hopefully my long post was of some use to you, and at the end of the day it is YOUR truck so do what makes YOU happy!

Cheers
Charles
The 8" is already sitting in my house! lol 2-3" thats too average for me.
Thanks for the post and why you understand wanting to go taller. The second a bigger truck pulls up next to you your heart sinks and you feel inferior. Or maybe like what Conanaski feels; he has a small weewhoo.

The pointing and laughing?! Am I going to get cyberbullied?! no seriously If you think its ridiculous than say so. I think its going to like any truck lifted 10" just without front drivetrain.

That 83 looks like a carbon copy 4wd. I would not be able to tell the difference. Shoulda kept it!

Can we seriously trade trucks?! I can lift yours sky high without the 2wd guilt and you can lower mine! I call fair trade!

Go for it...why not? It's YOUR TRUCK!! You'll have the ground clearance if you need it and if you like the way it rides....do it up.

My F-350 is an FX-4 4x4 lifted on 35"'s and I NEVER take it off pavement...so what's the bigger sin? Lifting the crap out of a 2wd or not using a 4x4 unless you're on a slippery boat ramp?
My F-150 (once I get it running) will be the truck that see's as much dirt as it will asphalt

nope. stock front F-superduty springs and a D-60 front axle, with 6 inch lift springs in the rear.
tires are BFG 36X12.5X16.5 MT radials.
