Is replacing orange injectors with beige Injectors a good idea???

Hi all, I'm a new member here and this is my first post!

I am planning to swap out all my injectors at once. I bought new ones off Rockauto:

STANDARD MOTOR PRODUCTS Part # FJ322 {#XL2Z9F593BA, XL2Z9F593CA, XS2Z9F593BA} Multi Port Injector; w/ O-ring

But I received beige ones in the mail instead with part numbers XS2E-A5B and 0 280 155 861 (or 0280155861 )and they have a small Ford logo on them.

When I search rockauto for part number XS2E-A5B these come up:
MOTORCRAFT Part # CM4885 {#XS2EA5B, XS2Z9F593AA}
Category: Fuel Injector
FORD EXPLORER (1999 - 2001)
MERCURY COUGAR (2000 - 2002)
MERCURY MOUNTAINEER (1999 - 2001)

Did they send me the wrong ones or will these work in my 2000 V10 Excursion?

Thanks.

-Jeremy

IIRC they won't. They use a lot of the same injectors on a lot of different vehicles depending on the lbs. they need for the performance/ecu tuning/emissions so only 24lb. injectors will work without proper tuning. If those are in fact 24lb injectors you might be alright, but I would double then triple then check once more that they seat perfectly and are the exact same as what you remove.

Thanks thomabb,

This is the reply I got from smpcorp (standard motor products):

"Hi Jeremy,
Well, something’s definitely up. Let’s start with the basics:
I checked our listings and FJ322 is indeed what we list for your truck:

That injector should be orange (Ford color codes different calibration injectors that look the same but flow differently).
We have sold two different versions; 1 from Ford/Bosch with this number stamped on it: 0280-155-917
The one we currently have is made in our own factory with the number 01G017B on it.

I’m not sure how you got the ones you did, they may have been mislabeled or misboxed, but what I have described above should be what you need. Let us know if you have any questions."

So it looks like mine were misboxed...
