MA resident, must have bought the truck in CA based on the black plate.

Why did you relocate the master cylinder to the center of the firewall?

V8 hood emblem is from a 1965/66. All 1961/64's, 1965/66 I-6's hood emblem features the Gear & Lightning Bolt.

Hi Bill... I purchased the truck from California, and had shipped here.
I did not relocate the brake master cylinder... It was the orginal location.
I know the V8 hood emblem is not original... I just prefer...

thanks....

Gee whiz, the pic was taken from 'the angle on the dangle' because from my view, it looks to be center mounted.

Nice old truck, Bill!! I love shortbed uni's but I'll never understand why Ford didn't bother to center the tires in the wheel wells. Many have corrected that when adding alternative suspensions but looks like you're going "stock" on this one.

Good luck with it and keep sharing the pics!

Bill has not logged on here since 11/24/2014 - over a year ago. You can find out this information by going into a persons profile. He did not leave a forwarding e-mail address either so the hope would be that he is subscribed to this thread and gets an e-mail from that.
