1969 f100 and 1973 spindles

Reading more up on disc brake swap can I just take the spindles, calipers, dust shield off a 73 and just mount spindle on my 1969 f100 from the 1973 f100?

Yes you can. The kingpins are the same size until 73.
This is what I did on mine.
Don't forget you also need to install a new master cylinder from a 73 or newer

To note, there are differences in tie rods and drag links between drums and discs. The 73's steering arm is cast part of the spindle whereas the 69's is bolted to the spindle. Their relative positions are slightly different.

PLUS, differences in pitman arm angles if the '73 is/was equipped with power steering.

I have 4 wheel power brakes and power steering 69 f100 with 85 350 Silverado motor and tranny. So the only real difference is tie rod mount height?

NOPE. AGAIN, there are also differences in steering components because of the steering arm positions AND dependent on whether your rig or the donor has power steering.

I'm gonna lead you to water. Please drink.
