DEF fluid for 2012 250 Super Duty

Where can I get DEF fluid when on the road? I have read that truck stops have it, but you need a magnetic gadget to access it? It is a hassle to carry around those 1/2 gallon jugs I purchase a the Ford Dealer.
Thanks

Walmart has the blue def in 2.5 gal jugs. You can still use the ford fill spout on the blue def.

Autozone, pepboys just about any auto parts stores have the jugs.

What "magnetic gadget" are you referring to? Never heard of anything like that. I fill up at Flying J quite often...it's a heck of a lot cheaper than even Wal-Mart or Sams (or wherever). But it is still a bit of a hassle (have to go inside and pre-pay, then get refunded any over).

Pilot/flying J you should sign up for the RV advantage card. Then you can pump first.

def fluid

The truck I drive for work has def tank just fill at pumps a lot cheaper than 2 1/2 gallon jugs I pay $2.49 gallon in my area. I know Flying-J has it also. No magnetic thing needed.

When I first got my 2012 I put ONE bottle of def in it and swore I'd never do that again no matter the cost - and most bulk def pump's are cheaper and easier to find all over the place....

I guess I've stopped at 10 around the dfw area and any pilot flying j and lot's of love's now have them now when on the road...

I did get the flying J card from good sam and can fill up at the truck lanes no hassles - just swipe and fill !
