I had someone recently replace the 4.6 in my '98 F150 with a PI engine out of a 2001 Crown Vic. He couldn't get the intake from the PI to work (he was trying to finish the job quickly) so he picked up an intake from an Explorer (high-rise aluminum similar to stock on truck) to work with it.

As I understand it, the PI engine has an increase in power due to changes in the heads, cam, and intake (which I am missing). What would it take to be able to use the PI intake with the PI engine?
