Funny you mentioned that. I actually couldn't find my heat gun and it was HER idea to use the hairdryer... and that is why after nearly 5 years of dating, I asked her to marry me last week

And thanks, this is basically what I've been searching for for a LONG time. A little rough on the edges, but mechanically peachy and for a company truck it's pretty amazing. I do wish they hadn't attempted to take the signs off... they scraped off paint doing so... oh well at least it'll blend with the rest of the truck and it may eventually get a paintjob.

I've had 5 OBS trucks now...
83 F150 (6, swapped for 302 / shift kitted C6) that was bought new by my grandfather for my mom
85 F150 (302/C6) in really nice shape I saved from the crusher and gave to a friend to fix up so he'd have wheels.
92 F150 (6/M5R2) I bought as a $600 "Parts Truck" and have put 5000+ miles on, it's for sale now
95 F250 (6/E4OD) I parted out due to title crap
97 F250

Ha, fair enough:
Two Bullnose, 3 OBS. I tend to just lump 80-96/altogether, even if that is slightly incorrect.

Great thread--subscribed, for future reference, for the benefit of those NOT writing in this thread, who could learn a thing or two from it. I just might share it with them, someday.
