numberdummy help

I would like to know what 8 or 9" rears ford made that are 56" drum surface to drum surface. Thank you in advance, much appreciated, Sir.!!!

1948 through 1960 Ford F-1 and F-100 Rear Axle (differential) Swaps .: Articles
57" is narrowest stock. You can get rear axles narrowed to almost any width you want. You also might want to check www.racingjunk.com

Mavericks are the narrowest 8"
57-59 Ford wagon are the narrowest 9"
But none are 56" drum to drum.

Thanks for the info, Ax, Old, I sort of another thread going about finding a rear for the Model a coupe I'm going to work on. Ax, thanks for the thread about 4 links and triangulated rears. I'm gonna stop this thread cause this has the same subject, Thanks again.
