Just got home from another camping weekend here in Georgia. Yep, the weather FINALLY cooperated!! The 6.7L was awesome again! Love winter time camping here. A little cool for us to begin with, but a great time with 3 other campers!
View from the front of the site. And yes, that is snow on the other bank. And a good view of the yurts.
Awe man your killing me here!!!! I want so bad to get our new Wildcat out and give it a shake down trip. But my old bones don't like cold weather. We were excited just to start loading supplies up the other day with it was in the mid 70s.
Lucky you! We were up to our trailer on the weekend and shovelled 3ft of snow and ice off the roof. Checked inside and the vinyl sheet flooring has split, likely from the cold temps.
I swear, if I lived up there in snow country I would have radiant heat (water pipes) running through my driveway. No way would I want to shovel more than a foot of snow.

I only shovel the walkways and roofs, blower for the driveway. I hate to guess the cost of running a heated driveway in -25C weather.
I figured it wasn't practical to haul the snowblower onto the roof of the trailer, would likely lose all the roof vents.
How do you like your Sandpiper trailer? What do you think of the general quality of it?
Great pictures and thanks for posting.
It is my second Sandpiper. The first was a 355QBQ that we liked everything but the kitchen layout. We wanted it turned around and tried to have it custom built, but the cost wasn't worth it. Then 11 months later I was at the dealership and watched the new(then) 365SAQ come in. It was the exact camper we were looking for. Darker wood and a flipped around kitchen. We ordered one the next day and traded when it came in.
To answer your question, we do like it....very much actually. The overall quality is fine in my book. Granted it isn't an $80K camper, but a bunkhouse with exactly what we wanted in one. It serves our needs to a "T". We've only had one major concern and that was it came with 6k pound axles under it and left only 137 pounds of cargo carrying capacity when it was loaded with options, before we put anything into it. That being said, FR changed out the axles to 7k and we are happy as can be. There is a large write up between Marc and I here 365saq weight ? - Forest River Forums that details the problem. They ahve now been corrected and MANY of us are very happy with our Sandpiper/Sierras as they are the same camper with different color schemes.
As far as shoveling snow, it just doesn't do that here!! It falls, becomes slick and the more falls. We have a slush on top of ice!!! No shoveling required!!
