Rebirth of an F-250

They should be pretty much the same front to back. But when I did the rear tank on my '97 last fall I was able to get one of the lines pretty easily, but not the other. I ended up getting a different line removal tool and it went much easier. The new one was theoretically the same size, but it was at least longer, and I think it was slightly smaller in diameter as well. Cheap tools with wide tolerances I guess. I don't know why one of the lines was so much easier than the other.

Well I am waving the white flag on the rear tank... luckily I found a ASE Master Mechanic that loves F series trucks and owns a few that will help me out. I have dropped the tank down as far as possible, I cannot get the lines disconnected with my quick disconnect tool and the limited amount of room to work. To make matters worse I am working around a receiver hitch which I am going to just remove...
