I broke my own rule....I bought some bling (2012 mirrors)
I swore I wouldn't buy anything considered "bling" before making sure the truck is mechanically solid. Well it's close.....
This is what I would consider "useful bling".
Damn I love these things and I found out tonight that BOTH upper and lower mirrors are heated.

That's the sort of thing that would infatuate Peter Griffin (Family Guy) for hours! OK, gotta admit that is pretty cool.

OEM.
I've yet to see an aftermarket set have power fold and power extend.

Not bad....just time consuming doing the wiring.

I have $710 in the project. Mirrors from Ebay, oem parts from Tousley, and misc.wiring stuff from an electronics store.

Yep, Ford OEM. I haven't seen aftermarket make power fold/telescope yet.

If someone went prowling in the classifieds section.....there's a set of these as an upgrade kit.
My old 2005 tow mirrors are there too.

They are really nice...until some young drop crotch pants idiot attendant at the carwash takes it upon himself to fold them in (without asking) when fairly cold at the same time I use the switch and strips the gearing!
