leaking steering gear what should I do ?
Bought a red head box with the group buy got it on wed. I had it installed Friday and yesterday I noticed fluid on the ground under the front of big orange. Crawled underneath to take a look and it appears to be leaking in the area of the fittings. Cannot tell if it's the pressure or the return line leaking. I will wash it off today for a better look. How about you guys do you put some kind of sealer on the threads ? Would that plumbers white tape work? I don't have a lot of money but if i have to I will take it back to the shop that put the box in.

If ir is leaking near the fittings, they may not be fully seated/sealed. On the flare fitting it often helps to loosen/tighten a few times to get it seated. Use of a tubing wrench is important to avoid rounding off the nuts.
In any case, if a shop installed it I would take it back. Let them tighten things up. There should be no additional charge to finish the job correctly!
