460 running mustang speed density ?

Hi
I've got an 87 efi 460 I've put into my 78 f100 I've got all my starter and charging system wired up and I've got a fuel system all hooked up and wired as well but I'm stuck for an ecu to run it
My engine came with the original truck ecu but missing the wiring harness for it and they seem pretty hard to find!
So does anyone know if a mustang speed density harness and ecu would run my efi ? Say a 87-88 model one ? Or are they somehow different and no good ? I'm just stuck with nothing to run my efi and I really don't want to go down the road of an aftermarket ecu as I'm a long way from a tuner so I'd like a factory system I can just hook up and run
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
