extended warrenty, is it worth it?
So I just picked up a 2007 expy Limited LE with 88,000 miles on it. While I was signing all of the paper work one of the things they offered me was a extended warranty. It was for 60 months / 100,000 miles from the date I bought it. The warranty covered the engine and drivetrain. If I remember correctly it said that it covered all oil lubricated parts as well as a hand full of other major parts of the engine. Same with the drivetrain. The total for it was around $2200. I could pay for it over 2 years at zero percent. Is this something that I should consider? Having a warranty till 2019 and or 188,000 sound kind of good. Do these expys have a common issue with the engine/drivetrain that it might be a good idea to get. The person doing the paper work with me said that I can think about it for a couple of day. Let me know what you think about it.
