On the legal side of things I don't think I'd go making things with powerstroke or Ford on them with out permission. It could get ugly

Yeah.i dont plan on selling them that is for sure. I'm sure licensing would be more trouble/money than its worth!

Yeah for sure. The guys at Complete Performance have done some cool dips. Hell I'd just go for some fresh OE style plastic. All mine is near dry rotted and stressed from the Texas heat.

Excellent point.
However........I seriously doubt there would be any issue with such a small niche market on a 20 year old vehicle that nobody cares about except us anyway.
The worst they can do is contact you and say "Don't do it anymore, or else...".
If it's something you really want to do (use the PSD or Ford names) I wouldn't let that hold me back.

I've had "7.3 Power Stroke" etched on my sleeve tools for years and never gave it a second thought. And I've also had them advertised in a national magazine for almost 4 years now so it's not like I'm hiding them. I seriously wouldn't worry about it.

Copying the Ford logo might get dicey, though.....
