interchangable parts for a ,49 F-3

Hi all My son has a 49 F-3 we where restoring a few years back and kind of got side tracked. So this year we are going to try to get back at it. Some where I found a place that told me what body part would interchange . F-2 to F-6 or around there somewhere. I'm not sure of the years. Can anyone send me in the right direction. I have a co-worker who's brother is a scraper. I told him I was looking for parts. He just scraped out to old ford pick-up. I could have cried. So he is keeping his eye out for me. Thanks Dale

Yes, F-2 to F-6 are the same cab and front end. F2-F3 share the same box, running boards and rear fenders. F1 cab, hood, grille, etc are the same, but everything else is different.

Is there anything in particular you're looking for?

Hello Dale!

Considering your location, you would be well served by watching the listings from the Hot Rod Garage in Minot. These guys have a steady stream of larger farm trucks that may be right for your needs.

Good Luck

Wayne I'm looking mostly for body parts. Front fenders are pretty bad. The cab can be saved. The box is so bad we are going to make it a flat bed.
