Boss RT2 plow mounting

Boss RT2 plow mounting
I have a 1988 f 250 7.3 4x4 5 speed and am looking at a 8 ft straight blade boss rt2 plow. it is currently mounted on a 91 bronco. my question is the frame the same between the coil sprung bronco to my leaf sprung 250? I would imagine the wiring harnesses would be identical. anyone running a rt2? what are your thoughts on them?

Here is my experience with an RT3. I know the RT2 & RT3 are different in how the plow hooks up but frame should be the same. My instruction booklet says it's for Ford F150-F350 1980-1991.
I have one on my 1989 F250 7.3, 5 speed, 4x4. I had to cut the lower section of my radiator support off completely. I then had to drill holes through both sides of the frame to use longer bolts. This plow was previously used on my 88 F250 with a 5.8 engine. I bought the plow setup new so I know it's not bent sect. The arms that mount to the frame aren't angled perfectly, but it works. Also some companies do not recommend putting a plow on the Diesel trucks as the weight exceeds the GAWR. I only use mine to do a few drive ways and we don't see much snow anymore. Good luck with it, also invite over a buddie to help makes life a lot easier.
