plow problems
ok so i buy this 94 f150 4x4 so i can put plow on it but i have been hearing i cant because it has the crumple frame for in an accident to force damage what im wanting to know has anyone put a plow on a 94 f150 is it possible im a welder i was goin to weld new brackets and make new undercarriage but i dont want to cause other problems any ideas or opinions?????

The newer plows are a unimount type . they have a big frame work under truck .
But I built /modified a 89 meyers sub frame boxed the crumple zone and put cross pc in . It was a off road truck and was beat plowing snow and had no problem with plow mount holding up.

yeah i think im goinna box the crumple zone and cross brace it and get stiffer coils for the front only thing the meyers plow i got is steel and one heavy sob so the air bags added would help alot thanks for taking your time to answer my questions i love this site i found it by accident just goes to prove never know what youll find till you go looking
