2000 V10 EX intermittent stalling

I am encountering a random stalling issue with my X. It starts fine and idles fine, but will randomly stall out, the check engine light flashes and then the Theft light begins flashing, often followed by a backfire. Most times it does not completely stall the engine, it seems like it quits getting gas momentarily and will usually catch and go on. Sometimes it won't do it for a couple of days and then, like today, it continued for a couple of miles, stalling over and over. Very frustrating. Help!

You need to test the fuel pressure. When was the last time you changed the fuel filter? Is it time for a tune up?

Moving this one over to the 6.8L V10 forum so the guys specific to that engine can help you out.

What do your spark plugs look like? Is it only right after start up?
