Burned wiring connector by fuse box.

Burned wiring connector by fuse box.
Hey everyone, I was going to install a remote start in a 2002 Ford Escape, and found an issue by the fuse box. There is a wiring connector right below the fuse box by the driver's left foot. From this connector a bunch of wires have been cut, and it has burnt and charred pretty badly.
I am trying to figure out what these wires are, and the best way to fix this. It appears that it burnt a while ago, there is no smell or anything so I don't think that it's recent. The daytime running lights have never worked on this car, so I'm not sure if these wires are related to that.
I have not yet tested for power at any of these wires.
There doesn't appear to be any other wires in the harness after where they have been cut.. So I'm no sure if maybe they were never attached?
I'm not sure what the best way to fix this is going to be, but I'm not sure what to do without knowing what these wires are. Does anyone know which wires are coming through that connector? Or have any idea why this one burned?
It did cross my mind to cut the connector out and attach the wires, however there are 10 wires that go into the wiring harness on one end, and only 6 on the other. The ones that do not continue on the front side of the connector are light blue/white, pink/black, light blue/yellow, and tan/red. The other wires all continue on the other side. So again I'm very hesitant to just connect the wires without knowing what would be left out, and if that would be cause for more burning.
Thank you very much in advance for any input, I do not want to see this car burn to the ground!

Looking into it more, I found some of the wires in the harness after the connector, so it has obviously been cut out, but I have no idea why without knowing what those wires are for. The ones that are cut are the larger green/yellow wire, red/green, brown/white, green, red, orange, and blue. Which are all on the right side of the connector.

I am going to give you a project, sorrry I don't have time right now. I just looked up your vehicle on Autozone's website, went into repair guides and then wiring diagrams. They have component views and connector views. It may take a little bit, and they did have some missing connector views, but you might be able to find it in there. You may be able to find the "C" number in component views, and verify it by the wires in the connector view.
