2000 f250 4WD Front End Vibration

2000 F250, 7.3., 4WD. Recently replaced the right front inner and outer axle due to failure. Replaced upper and lower ball joints while apart. Reassembled everything. Experiencing significant front end vibration only when 4WD engaged. If 4WD is not engaged, regardless if hubs are locked or not, there is no vibration. Vibration becomes noticeable at 30MPH and gets worse with speed. Checked the drive shaft ujoints and popped the front differential cover to check internal components action. Would appreciate any ideas.

I know this may sound very repetitive but always make sure you are at a complete stop before shifting in and/or out of 4 wheel drive.

vibrati o

The fix for the vibration was too replace the CV joint in the front drive shaft. Vibration gone, but, original failure seems to have transmitted and caused other components to have issues now that were not there before.

3rd gear in transmission has excessive vibration. Appears to be an issue with shifting and torque converter plus hydropower appears to have gone bad, both steering and brakes have become excessively hard.

Front end vibration starting at low speed
