Really now 226 motor..

Found this on YouTube is this really necessary ? I would think it would do more bad then good on that motor

The funny thing is at about 1:05 the fan belt flies off and hits the guy!

That engine stand scares me to death! Considering what a flat-6 weighs, I'm surprised it didn't fold.

I can see this guy burning threw a lot of belts I don't the water pump or the belt can take all that power... it sounds great when idling.

Shouldn't the turbo be pushing air into the tops of the carbs and not underneath?

The turbo draws thru the carbs. Most turbos aren't designed for wet mixtures, and will quickly get deposits on the compressor blades if operated that way. You can't do an intercooler, obviously. Corvairs had wet turbos, completely different type of turbo tho.

Holy smokes check the next vidio, a tri power V12 Lincoln. There was hardly
no speed stuff for those or a 337........

That's a case of a picture being better than a thousand words. If you don't understand the capability of a turbo after watching that.......

I agree--the stand is a death trap.

Hmmmm..........That would interesting to have in my F-2.

The flat six is a more durable than the flat eight. They were used in race cars when they were common. Only about 5 hp less than the eight. I'd bet the six would tolerate the mods better than the eight and look at has been done to the eights.
