I'm glad it was easy to fix.

In addition.
Engines should have a ground strap to the firewall as well.
The body is setting on rubber mounts just like the engine...
Usually a flat braided strap from the wiper motor to the intake manifold (on a v8)

Really, there is no such thing as 'too much ground'
