I just found this thread as I haven't been able to do much FTEing this week. My initial reaction was one of no real surprise. I haven't met Ray in person, but he's helped me over the Internet and with PMs. I have met Ross a couple of times, and that's why this story doesn't surprise me.

Bottom line: You guys rock!

Well as you can tell from the pictures, I'm already getting "younger" with that light blond hair, and I'm only 39 years old.

Okay know don't go getting all offended . I have a circle of 1/4" long white hair around the multiplied scared target space in the middle , and I wear a toque this time of year to keep it warm not keep the sun off .

Sorry Doc I was referring to the other two 39 year olds in some of the shots . If I got the bodies mixed up I apologize .

No pics of it, but Doc did a lot of work before we got there, and in his "spare" time after work. Truly a joint effort.

Very classy bunch of genuinely nice guys. Folks that walk the walk and are true friends to the people they come in contact with. Guys like this are getting harder to find these days, but its nice to know that guys like this still exist. I'm glad a lot of them have found there way to FTE and made it there home. Nice going guys.

I met Ross and Bobby a few years ago when my wife and I were passing through. Met them (and Cooter) at a local eatery, then went back to Ross's after. I mentioned that I had forgot my camera and had to go buy one. Ross offered to lend me his for the trip. He even inquired as to where we were staying and offered to let us stay with him instead. You just don't meet guys like this every day.
