Need part number for shifter arm bushings
#16
But where do you see a part number for the bushing? There isn't one, as the bushings are swaged into the levers, so they were only furnished with the levers.
Here's two more examples of bushings only furnished with the parts.
Your truck has two wiper transmission arms that route from the motor to the pivots. Each arm has 2 rubber bushings, but they were only furnished with the arms.
The two levers of your heater control panel ride on nylon bushings, but were only furnished with the panel assy.
These bushings crack apart, causing the levers to flop around and you're SOL because none are available NOS

I'm glad I took pics before I removed the old factory bushings, here's one of the shift arms with a worn out bushing, the rubber has came out of one side allowing the brass bushing to move, notice how it's right of center in this photo.
Here's a side view, you can see the shiny brass where it's been wearing against the steel arm since the rubber is missing from that spot.
They are of similar construction as the column end arms, which have a kit to repair them (C5TZ-7343-A). But I know from other people that have tried, that kit will not work on the transmission mounted arms, so I had some solid brass ones made since stock style rubber/brass replacements aren't being manufactured that I know of.

C5TZ-7343-A .. Selector Lever Bushing & Insulator Kit only used on the two manual control selector levers at the bottom of the steering column.
I've listed this part number and applications well over 500 times here on FTE

Geez Louise, you don't seem to "get it."
These bushings were ONLY furnished with the levers! There's NO part number for them, since they were not available by themselves.
