Is my 71 crew cab frame worth saving

I just pulled my 71 crew cab off its 2wd frame and put it on my 4x4 frame I'm building
My question is as rare as these crew cabs are is the frame worth anything or should I just call the nearest junk yard and scrap it
It's a rolling frame complete with drivetrain i6 and 4speed. not sure how to post pics

Ralph, I have always found it hard to get rid of a chassis. Quickest escape take it to the salvage yard.

I usually try to sell for a short period, 7-14 days, if no bites offer to give it away. That usually works but if it doesn't then off to the wreckers it goes...

Shame it's not closer. I am looking for a 300 i6 with T18 to rebuilt and swap into my truck.

I haven't really seen anyone searching for one of them frames if it's free somebody will probably want it but I'd pull the drivetrain and haul it to the Junkers if it were me

Post it for sale on oldfordcrewcabs.com They are getting harder to find. Someone out there needs one.

Update I have someone coming tomorrow to look at it. I'm almost giving it away so hopefully he buys it. It'll free up some space and make the wife happy until I fill that space with more "junk"

He's probably just going to scrap it. Do you have the means to get it to the scrapper? Feel's like a sin to see a Bump frame go down in flames but if it must be, I'd rather see a fellow FTE'er get the moola.

Another option is put it in the barter section of Craigslist. This time of year, holidays, its hard to sell anything cause money is being used for gifts. Bartering, you can usually get more of someone elses crap, for yours
