New intake for my 352?

I was thinking of buying one of these Edelbrock 2105 Edelbrock Performer Manifolds for Ford - Free Shipping on All Orders @ JEGS - Free Shipping on All Orders @ JEGS to go with my new cl33-224-3 Comp Cams Camshaft.

Thoughts?? Anyone?

Great choice on intake for a truck and small cubic inch.

I just put one on a 390 for a truck. Work very well for the basic RPM range of that camshaft. Big cubes, better heads or more rpm then the Performer RPM would be the choice. Performer 390 is perfect for what you are doing.

Agree with Boss9F100, keeping in mine the engine has hydraulic flat tappets I recently installed similar cam and lifters in 65. The Dual Plane Edelbrock has been on the truck for years; although I kinda fancied the 'satin' finish spoke with others who said they are a pain in the backside keeping clean. When it came to spacer, I went with the ported type. Looking at the stud and nut kit JEG's recommended in the item description; if decide to replace, suggest rather than selecting the studs that are totally threaded I went with stud where 1/2" of the tip is polished and non threaded and only need to get the nut on the tip and it then slides down to the threads, it certainly cut down on my having to locate dropped stud nuts. Read articles and there are couple schools of thought as to whether on not to add zzdp; after having to replace the cam and lifters I have started adding it; understand a few brands where they have increased the amount of zinc and phosphorous in their racing oil?? Anyhow, interested in outcome.
