Im using a 5.0. the moter and wiring harness is out of a 89 lincon town car. I swaped the intake to the 87 thu 91 truck style. I am also using a AOD transmission.

This will be interesting , I swapped a 86 to carbureted a few years back and it was pretty painless.. going from Carbed to injected I can say you'll notice the difference in the power and sound..

Good luck!

Yeah I believe once you've done it once its something you'll never forget.. good or bad! Thanks for the pics, looks to be coming along nicely.. you gonna change out the timing gears and delete the lobe or just put a fuel pump delete plate on it?

Ahh. I'm with you now.. I swapped the intake and timing chain cover on mine not the entire motor.. regardless you're gonna love it!

Sounds like you're close to having it running

But thos are minor issues. hopefully have it one day next week. me and my dad are taking my old bronco out this weekend so its gonna sidetrack the project for a few days... but oh well.
