i use a set of these:

mounted on top of my bumper.i don't recall where i got them originally with the metal mounts though.
wire them in with the trailer wiring reverse lights if you have the tow package cus the wire is larger and its on a relay which is better and will result with brighter lights.they light her right up nicely back there.

I bough a set of relatively cheap fog lamps from Lordco and mounted them on the bottom of the trailer hitch safety chain plate. I have one light each side of the receiver angled out and they let me see what's behind me as well as were the truck and wheels are. The lights I bought are definitely not the best out there, I wouldn't use them as actual fog lights, but they are more than enough for backing up in the dark.
I've gone mine on a manual switch in the dash (not technically legal ) since my reverse light switch is intermittent at times, but it wouldn't be hard to wire it into the existing reverse light system.
