I need some help fellas? I have a 1965 f100 4x4 with a after market fuel tank in the bed and it needs a new fuel level sending unit. I want to use the original fuel gauge so I need to know what the ohms are for the original fuel gauge?

Or would it be a better idea to go with a new sending unit and matching fuel level gauge??

 

I believe the ford gauge is a 73-10 ohm

 

does anybody know what years sending units will work in a 1966?
